Rushed

For the mornings you are already late. Three steps, one breath, and you are out the door.

Artemis

Guided by the goddess of the wild

The goddess of the wild is your guide. Her name is Artemis. As a little girl, she was told by her father Zeus that she could have any gift she wanted. She asked for a bow and arrows, a short tunic that stopped at the knee so she could run freely, and the mountains to roam. She travelled light and always knew where she was going.

Travel light. Know where you are going.

Your ritual, step by step

  1. Refresh

    1 min

Splash lukewarm water on your face, or mist it with rose water. Pat dry and leave your skin slightly damp.

  2. Hydrate

    1 min

Press 2 to 3 drops into your damp skin. Hyaluronic acid hydrates, and Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, a stable form of vitamin C, brings radiance. One small step, and you’re ready to go.

  3. Seal

    1 min

Warm it between your palms and press it up and out from your neck to your forehead. Ceramides and squalane seal in the hydration so your skin stays comfortable through a long day. Heading out? Finish with a broad-spectrum SPF.

  4. Her moment: aim

    2 min

Before you open the door, stand still. Feet flat, shoulders down, one slow breath. Ask yourself, “What is the one thing that matters today?” Answer in a single sentence, silently. Artemis never chased every animal in the forest, she chose her target. Exhale, and go.

Make it yours

Ask

Ask your mother, your grandmother or an older woman you trust: what did you do to keep yourself grounded when everything around you was rushed or chaotic? What did you do when you only had two minutes for yourself?
